Lea Michele has debuted the music video for her first solo single "Cannonball"!

The emotional video features the 27-year-old Glee star emerging from a dark place to find the light.

The video starts with Michele sitting alone in a dark and deserted house singing, "I was scared to death, I was losing my mind/ I couldn't close my eyes, I was pacing all night/ I think I found the light at the end of the tunnel/ I couldn't find the truth I was going under."

"And now I will start living/ Today, today, today I close the door," she sings in the song's chorus. "I got this new beginning and I will fly/ I'll fly like a cannonball."

Later, Michele croons in a more revealing white dress while walking through a room filled with purple lights. The video ends with Michele belting out the powerful chorus in front of a wall of multicolored lights.

Earlier today, Michele took to Twitter, writing, "So thankful to everyone who helped me make my #CannonballMusicVideo and to all of you for watching... u all."

Michele also recently said "Cannonball" is "more than just a song for me." "It has helped me so much in this process personally," she admitted. "It's given me strength; it's given me hope. I get upset thinking about it, it's really inspiring."
