Kylie Jenner got a haircut!
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Instagrammed a photo of her new 'do with stylist Scott Cunha, captioning the Jan. 9 selfie, "got my hair cut a lil shorter today."
The 16-year-old beauty posted another selfie of her newly-lopped locks, which now fall just a few inches past her shoulders. She included the Instagram emoji of a boy and a girl holding hands—presumably an homage to herself and Scott, the man behind Kylie's mini hair makeover.
She went on to film an episode of E!'s Fashion Police with Kendall Jenner, who Instagrammed a shot of the sisters and Joan Rivers from the set. The picture, as you can see, shows features Kylie's cute new 'do, but don't get too attached to this new look…
Because homegirl loves tweaking her tresses from time to time! She's bleached her hair blond, dyed it black, given it some reddish highlights and even thrown purple and blue in the mix! She's a fan of playing around with layers, too, and even faked us out (à la Kim Kardashian) with clip-on bangs at the 2013 American Music Awards in November.
Kylie hasn't really made that chop just yet, but Kim did go on to get her bangs cut—for real. Since then, she's grown them out and lightened things up with blond highlights. Kourtney Kardashian's also done the blunt-cut bang, but like Kimmie, she's gone back to her longer locks.
Kylie might have the right idea by just cutting her hair "a lil shorter" incrementally. Drastic 'dos can be fun, but sometimes it's smart to ease in to something different!
