While it's been nearly 12 years since the former Disney stars dated, both Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears attended the People's Choice Awards last night, where the famous exes narrowly avoided a run-in at the annual award show.
A source tells E! News that the pop princess and her former beau did not bump into each other at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, and, in fact, the "Suit & Tie" singer may have actually been gone by the time the "Work Bitch" beauty arrived.
While we're sure the former lovebirds would have been cordial towards one another, we imagine an accidental run-in may have been a bit awkward, considering Brit Brit made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend of nearly a year David Lucado.
The pop princess also took home her first People's Choice award for Favorite Pop Artist, thanking her "beautiful boys" and "all of you" while squealing with excitement as she accepted her accolade onstage.
And she actually beat her ex-beau, who was also up for the honor in the same category, although J.T. hardly went home empty handed, nabbing awards for Favorite R&B Artist and Favorite Album for The 20/20 Experience at the show.
So since Britney was clearly busy with her man, where was the "SexyBack" singer hanging?
At Taco Bell. (No, seriously.)
The 32-year-old stud, whose wife Jessica Biel was M.I.A. from the event for unknown reasons, hit up the famous fast food joint after the show, posting pics with starstruck employees on Instagram and writing "What do we do after we win 3 PCAs?!?! Easy... Go to Taco Bell!! People's Champ, baby!!"
Who knew a nacho supreme could potentially save the singer from an awkward moment?!
