It's hard not to squeal at the preciousness of Carrie Underwood hanging out with a bunch of puppies!

The 30-year-old country star was volunteering at an animal shelter Wednesday, Jan. 8, and thankfully for all of us, she Instagrammed some supercute canine snaps of her day with the dogs!

In the first pic, Carrie puckers up her lips as "one [puppy] is trying to kiss me while one is trying to rip my scarf off!" And in another, Carrie cradles three puppies lovingly, captioning the shoot, "More cuties!!! #ShelterDogs #volunteering #Adopt."

And Carrie is sincere in her love for animals. She has two fur babies herself—dogs Ace and Penny—and she's worked with the Humane Society of the United States as well as the Pedigree adoption drive. She has saved an injured dog from the side of the highway and awesomely Twitter feuded with a Tennessee lawmaker when the state passed an "ag-gag" bill prohibiting undercover videotaping of factory farms, often used to bring alleged animal abuse to light.

She even became a vegetarian—and eventually a vegan—because of her undying love for nature's creatures. "I'm a vegetarian because I love animals," she told PETA in 2013. "I grew up on a farm and they were all my pets! So the thought of me or someone else eating my pets kind of freaked me out at a young age."

"If you told me I could never sing again, I'd say that was horrible, but it's not my life," she added. "If you told me I could never be around animals again, I would just die."

Amen, sister.
