Amy Adams keeps spilling the beans about her now infamous kiss with Jennifer Lawrence in American Hustle.
During a Jan. 8 appearance on Chelsea Lately, the 39-year-old starlet revealed that it was actually her idea to lock lips with J.Law on the big screen.
"I mean, I could come up with a funny answer which I probably should, but really my character is really strong and her character is kind of crazy, and I was thinking, 'Why would I let her leave?'" the actress told Chelsea Handler about the scene between the two ladies. "Because I really want to tell her something. And I thought, 'What's the craziest thing she could have done to me?' And I thought she should kiss me."
And the rest is history.
"Jen was open. She's open to anything," Handler responded.
"She's the most awesome girl ever," the Golden Globe nominee said. "She's so amazing."
Adams joked with Handler that she had a great time shooting David O. Russell's star-studded crime drama because of the cleavage, thanks to her revealing wardrobe.
"The cleavage actually made it a little tricky because...you're trying to like move naturally, but we didn't use any double sided tape because the way David works, he shoots in three sixty, so I didn't use any," Adams said.
"So how did you keep them where they are supposed to be?" Handler asked.
"I just...I had a laissez-faire attitude about my breasts, like you had to sit like straight up," Adams explained. "She sits like this and I'm not trying to create like a showgirl boob but I'm really trying to keep them from showing."
