Zac Efron was in good spirits when he hit the stage at the People's Choice Awards in L.A. on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The actor—who accidentally broke his jaw in November—joined his That Awkward Moment costars Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller to present the "Best Comedic Movie Award."

"So, the three of us know just a little bit about awkward moments," said Efron, 26. "In fact, there was this one time that I texted a girl and she didn't text me back for 20 minutes, and I just didn't..."

"What's awkward about that?" Teller asked, interrupting the recently rehabbed star.

"Yeah, dude. Give her a little bit of me time," Jordan said. "She's probably in the bathroom."

Teller continued, "Twenty minutes is an average reply time when I'm talking to a girl."

Efron's costars asked him to share another awkward moment, but he was at a loss for words. "Zac, you've never had an awkward moment, have you?" Jordan asked. Teller then quipped, "He's so good looking!"

The scripted exchange about his good looks then "officially" became Efron's "most awkward moment."

The actor was forced to cancel some of his promotional responsibilities for That Awkward Moment in late 2013 after he slipped in a puddle of water outside his L.A.-area home. The injury required Efron's jaw to be temporarily wired shut.

That Awkward Moment hits theaters on Friday, Jan. 31.
