As E! News was first to report, the former Bachelorette got engaged to beau Tyler Johnson over New Year's, and now we're told that they may tie the knot as soon as this spring.
"She knows Tyler's the one and he feels the same way. They don't see the point in waiting," a source exclusively tells us. "The two of them and [Emily's daughter] Ricki are already a little family."
The source adds: "Both of them are already telling friends and family members things are going to start moving quickly. They're in planning mode."
As for the big day itself, the insider sees the couple swapping vows close to home—and in high style.
"I can definitely see them getting married in Charlotte," the source says.
"Emily has so much style, this will definitely be a country chic wedding," the source continued. "Expect a lot of personal touches. The stack of engagement rings is the perfect example. It's so her, beautiful but unexpected. That's how the wedding will be."
Tyler gave his future wife a ring encircled with diamonds, which the bride-to-be has been wearing as part of a stack of pavé bands—indeed a fashion-forward update on the classic solitary stone.
Maynard and her stunning new hand candy were spotted out yesterday afternoon in Charlotte, N.C.
"Of course Ricki will play a big role" in the wedding, the source says. "She'll absolutely be standing up there with them."
We heard that Emily's 8-year-old daughter, who was also present for the romantic proposal, absolutely adores Tyler.
The groom-to-be will "probably do a traditional bachelor party," says our source. As for the bride, "I can see her retreat with her friends, somewhere relaxing."
And after the I-dos have been said, will Emily and Tyler be looking into another type of planning, perhaps of the family variety?
"Down the line, for sure," the source says. "I know Emily wants more [kids] and Tyler will make an amazing dad. He's already a father figure to Ricki."
