OK, so, everyone is asking the Legend of Hercules hunk about the nature of his relationship with the "Adore You" singer—including, of course, Today's Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
"Do you see that picture?" he asked the chatty cohosts Wednesday, Jan. 8, referencing the innocuous-on-its-own photo of the pair at the opening of Beacher's Madhouse in Las Vegas. "I mean, why would you assume that someone was dating (from that)?" (In fairness, Kellan and Miley were spotted making out the night that photo was taken in Sin City and also last month at a club in Miami.)
"It's comical for me," Kellan went on, referencing the speculation about his love life. "I'm a public figure, she's a public figure, I've been friends with her for six years and we're in the same circle...I'm dating everyone these days, let's just start that rumor!"
Kellan, 28, will say that Miley, 21, is "a cool, secure woman." But as he told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM show, he's "enjoying life and traveling quite a bit...there's no real time to find The One."
And indeed, a source told E! News that neither Kellan nor Miley "is planning anything long-term right now," but the pair "are just enjoying themselves" during their hangout sessions.
Kellan himself told E! News, simply, he finds Miley to be "an amazing girl and she has a great head on her shoulders," adding, "I love hanging out with her because she is who she is and she's such a shining star."
