"Democracy is so overrated." And so begins the House of Cards season two trailer.

The hit Netflix series returns for a 13-episode second season on February 14—let's call it a Valentine's Day gift from Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey).

In the new season, Frank and Claire (Robin Wright) continue their rise to power, but it's not smooth sailing. Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) is hot on Frank's trail and close to uncovering the truth about his crimes. Meanwhile, Raymond Tusk (Gerald McRaney) is stirring up trouble for Frank and demands he reciprocate political favors or face certain retribution. In season two, Claire will also struggle with the new pressures of the spotlight. Can the Underwoods survive the dangers?

Check out the trailer below.

The trailer not enough to get you excited for House of Cards season two? Well, how about the season two key art and these random (and awesome) quotes from the trailer?

"Let's start this new chapter with a clean slate."

"The connections are troubling, especially Underwood."

"Hit him again and hit him now."

"I want him obliterated."
"More than that, let's make him suffer."
"I don't know whether to be proud or terrified."

"We have to strike back hard and fast."

"He's got power, he's got a lot to lose and he is winning."

"Am I really the sort of enemy you want to make?"

"There is but one rule, hunt or be hunted."
