"My snuggle bug..." the fashion mogul captioned the lovely black and white photograph of her pensive tiny tot.
Ace looks comfy in a longsleeve shirt with matching pants as he sits in a swing and makes perfect eye contact with his proud mama.
The 33-year-old singer, who is also mom to 1-year-old daughter Maxwell with fiancé Eric Johnson, recently opened up about her New Year's resolutions in an advertisement for Weight Watchers.
"If you do set resolutions for yourself, it shouldn't be something grand," she says. "I think it should just be about getting started on something and see if you can stick with it."
For now, though, Simpson is focused on finally making that trip down the aisle and tying the knot with her longtime love.
"I've been pulling all kinds of sketches for dresses and colors," she tells USA Today of long-delayed wedding plans. "It's a good goal for me. It's good for me to feel the best I've ever felt when I walk down the aisle."
