The 51-year-old actress has been getting very close to 27-year-old tattooed drummer Sean Friday during their recent group vacation in Tulum, Mexico, E! News has learned.
"Demi arrived in Tulum on Dec. 27 with her daughter Rumer [Willis] and a group of friends, including [Rumor's on-again boyfriend] Jayson Blair, Eric Buterbaugh and Sean Friday," and eyewitness tells E! News. "They stayed at Hotel Be Tulum in jungle suites, individual rooms on the beach with private pools in the sand. Each day, Demi hung out in the group and spent the day on the beach. She was with Sean from the beginning of the trip acting very affectionate and making it very obvious they are a couple."
"Demi was very comfortable and happy spending every moment she could with Sean," the source continues. "The first day she went and got them towels and they laid down together on a beach bed and cuddled all day long. When they were sitting up, they put their arms around each other or she sat in his lap and whispered in his ear. She was sipping a can of Red Bull and smiling at Sean as she sat with her arms around him and couldn't stop laughing."
"She seemed so in love and happy," the source adds. "She loved the attention and seemed very confident."
The eyewitness says Moore and Friday even had a "great time" building sand castles on the beach with a young boy during their tropical getaway before packing on the PDA during an ocean swim.
"They went swimming together and were all over each other," the source says. "She grabbed on to him from behind and he swam over the waves with Demi on his back. They had a close talk in the water and she had a big smile on her face. Afterwards they laid together on their beach bed for the afternoon. She looked so young and beautiful. She was totally at ease and relaxed."
In addition to going paddle boarding and ocean diving together, taking romantic walks and doing yoga, the new couple also "ate at Casa Violetta and Hardwood, and on New Year's Eve they went to a party on the beach," the source tells us.
"Demi has been to Tulum many times before, but she looked happier than ever on this trip," the eyewitness says. "She loved being with her guy and having someone to share her vacation with and ring in New Year's with. They kept talking about it being like heaven and you could tell it couldn't get any better for them."
