Continuum star Rachel Nichols just announced that she's engaged to her longtime beau, real estate developer Michael Kershaw.
The brunette actress made the happy announcement on Instagram by posting a picture of the two of them (gorgeous diamond ring included).
"Engagement drinks: Thanks for all the well-wishes!" she wrote.
Nicholas hugged her soon-to-be hubby in a white sweater and flashed her stunning sparkler for all her fans to see.
"Thanks for all the kind words about our engagement…2013 is my favorite year although I don't doubt there are even better years to come," the 33-year-old added on her Twitter page.
Nichols and Kershaw celebrated their engagement with a trip to New York City, it seems.
The star snapped pictures of them seeing The Tragedie of King Richard the Third on Broadway and making a visit to Grand Central Station.
"There's something so soothing about the hum of Grand Central Station," she wrote on New Year's Eve.
Michael tweeted from the station and said, "My favorite spot in NYC with my favorite person."
This marks the second marriage for Nichols. She previously married Star Trek producer Scott Stuber in July 2008. The two later split after nine months and had no children together.
