It looks like fans can expect to see new music in the near future from Nicole Scherzinger.

The former Pussycat Dolls singer has reportedly landed a $4.5 million dollar recording deal with Sony Records.

According to The Sun, the brunette beauty is in the final stages of working out details regarding the contract.

Scherzinger's last endeavor was as a mentor on the U.K. version of the X Factor, where she quickly became a show favorite.

The 35-year-old seems to be focused on her career despite the recent attention surrounding her personal life.

She ended her on-and-off romance with professional race car driver Lewis Hamilton back in August 2013, but has remained in contact with him ever since.

"We're just friends," the pop star told The Sun in November. "Just friends."

When asked about a secret rendezvous the two had at a London hotel, Scherzinger remained adamant that the meeting was purely on a friend basis.

"We just, um, met up to speak that night," she explains. "That's all."

However, that doesn't exactly mean that a reconciliation is entirely off the table. "Whatever the future holds, I don't rule anything out," Scherzinger said. "I also don't have any regrets."
