Former Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion showed off his ripped bod while strolling shirtless on the beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during his honeymoon with his husband Rubem Robierb.
The 52-year-old soaked in the sun's rays while wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap and white pants. Although he's technically on vacation, Champion has continued to keep his followers informed with the weather on Twitter.
"Heavy rain from miami into doral this am. Flooding likely!" he tweeted early this morning. Thanks, Sam.
It's been slightly over a year since the anchor tied the knot with artist partner with an intimate ceremony, which was officiated by New York State Supreme Court Justice George Silver, at Champion's New York City apartment.
Along with marriage, Champion will be facing another big change in his life.
It was announced earlier this month that the Good Morning America weather anchor was leaving the popular a.m. show and heading to The Weather Channel. In a statement released by ABC News president Ben Sherwood, Champion "will become the on-air face of the network, appearing as a host and serving as managing editor."
Champion's last day at GMA was Dec. 4. He will take on his new duties at The Weather Channel in early 2014.
But until then, it's all about sun, love and muscles.
