Adrienne Maloof has made it clear she no longer needs The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And she proved her point last night when she threw a massive holiday bash that caused quite a disturbance in her gated community.

The former Bravo reality star threw her holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Mulholland Estates sponsored by Zing Vodka.

According to a source, the party started at 7 p.m. and by 8:45 p.m., the cops had already started to arrive because hundreds of cars were trying to get into the gated community where Maloof's home is located.

Guests were parking on Mulholland Drive and were even walking through the gate to get in, which, apparently did not sit well with the neighbors around the area.

"There was a line of maybe two blocks of cars up to her gated community," a partygoer exclusively tells E! News.

"Once we got to the door of the gated community, they turned us away, they were turning cars away," the attendee added. "People were loitering, waiting to see what would happen."

And since police were denying entrance into the über-exclusive neighborhood, guests who were all dressed up in their festive wear decided to take matters into their own hands.

"We saw people going in through the side, out of the line of vision of the cops," the partygoer tells us. "Someone was leaving and so the gate opened and a tiny mob of people rushed in. All the women were in dresses and heels and it was still a really long walk to the party."

Hopefully the cocktails were strong upon arrival.

Real Housewives of Orange County's Slade Smiley and Gretchen Rossi were part of the crew parked on the street, according to the partygoer, although they did not rush the gate, so it's unclear whether they attended the bash.

And while many reports claim the party was shut down, the Maloof attendee tells E! News that simply wasn't the case.

"Once we were inside it was fine, but it was just a complete mess outside," the attendee said.

Celebs spotted inside the bash include The Game, Heather McDonald and Gloria Allred. Seth MacFarlane was also invited to the party, but it's unclear if he attended due to the chaos.

Guests were asked to bring a $10 toy for a donation to Children's Hospital Los Angeles and at the end of the night, Maloof posed with her own boy-toy, 24-year-old Jacob Busch, whom she began dating in September.
