Let the holiday celebrations begin!

Exactly one week before Christmas Day, the entire extended royal family gathered at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday for Queen Elizabeth II's annual pre-Christmas lunch.

Prince Charles and his wife Camila (the Duchess of Cornwall), Princess Beatrice, and of course, Prince William and Kate Middleton were all spotted arriving for the festive fete.

Prince Harry was not present as he is still making his way back from the South Pole, after completing his grueling Walking with the Wounded race last week.

But as usual, all eyes were on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they pulled up in their black Range Rover with Will was behind the wheel.

It is unclear from photos whether or not their newborn son Prince George accompanied his parents. But considering it was a family occasion it is quite possible he was just hard to spot in his wee car seat in the back.

In the front, his mum looked festive in a red coat—not the L.K.Bennett one she wore on Poppy Day last month—with her signature blowout and extra rosy cheeks. Last time she was at the Palace Kate wore a tiara, this time she kept the sparkle to simple drop earrings.

Although the duo spent today with Will's side of the family, they are reportedly spending Dec. 25 at Kate's parent's home in Bucklebury.
