What's old is new again!

Much like Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama isn't afraid to resurface a fabulous ensemble from the past, and she did just that at TNT's Christmas in Washington event over the weekend in a striking J. Mendel outfit.

We first spotted Michelle in the festive look at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and immediately recognized it again when she pulled it out again for the holiday TV special hosted by Anna Kendrick with a performance by Sheryl Crow last night.

It goes without saying that the FLOTUS is certainly fond of the ivory two-piece design featuring a structured short jacket with elegant metallic flocking and pleated full skirt, and even paired the whole ensemble with the exact same pair of classic silver Manolo Blahnik pumps, too!

Now this is a lady who knows what she likes!

We personally think the designer set is more suitable for the holidays, and love how the creamy color really complements her gorgeous skin tone.

Happy holidays, indeed!
