So, if Catwoman and the Olsen twins ever get invited to the Bush White House, the trio and the President have a surefire conversation topic: Remember when we all got dissed by moviegoers?

The feline antihero, the former Full House stars and the commander in chief were among the nominees Monday for the 25th annual Razzie Awards, dedicated to kicking films and performers when they're down, or, in the case of President Bush, when they've recently been inaugurated for a second term.

As is tradition, nominations for the anti-Oscars were announced one day before nominations for the real Oscars are to be made public.

Catwoman led the Razzie way, with her titular motion-picture vehicle starring Halle Berry, scratching out seven nominations, including one for Worst Picture of 2004.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen received two nominations each (Worst Actress and Worst Screen Couple) for their theatrical debut in the gone-in-a-New York-minute comedy, New York Minute.

President Bush was a double nominee for the Michael Moore documentary Fahrenheit 9/11. The leader of the free world will compete against the likes of Vin Diesel (The Chronicles of Riddick) and Razzie favorite Ben Affleck (Jersey Girl and Surviving Christmas) for Worst Actor, even though technically he wasn't acting.

"I don't think there is any more leading role than President of the United States," Razzie founder John Wilson said Monday.

Bush also is up in the Worst Screen Couple category for his shared screen time with both My Pet Goat, from the children's story of the same name, and National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice.

Rice, already nominated to be the next secretary of state, can add to her considerable resume with a solo Razzie for Worst Supporting Actress on the strength of her testimony before the 9/11 Commission, as excerpted in Fahrenheit 9/11.

Moore's take on the run-up to the Iraq war also netted a nomination for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, up for Worst Supporting Actor, and Britney Spears, a Worst Supporting Actress hopeful for her thoughtful soundbite on the state of world affairs.

Though the Bush team took a beating from Razzie voters, Wilson isn't so sure his award show will take a beating from the President's Red State supporters.

"If they don't pay attention [and only hear that Fahrenheit 9/11 was nominated], that might make them happy," Wilson said.

Fahrenheit 9/11's five Razzie nominations were the most for a nonfiction film, and the third most overall, tying with the Wayans family comedy, White Chicks.

Alexander, Oliver Stone's epic box-office misfire (at least in the United States--the Greek history lesson is translating well overseas), is up for six Razzies, including ones for Worst Picture, Worst Actor (a bottle blond Colin Farrell), Worst Actress (Angelina Jolie, also nominated for Taking Lives) and Worst Director.

The prolific Ben Stiller scored a cumulative Worst Actor nomination for his entire body of work in 2004, minus Meet the Fockers and some odd errands around the house: Along Came Polly, Anchorman, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Envy and Starsky & Hutch.

Razzie nominations were determined by a vote of 650 persons described as "film professionals, film journalists and film fans," all folks apparently with a high tolerance for stuff like Superbabies: Baby Genius 2, which received four nominations.

In honor of its silver anniversary, the Razzies added four categories this year, including one to determine the Worst Razzie Loser of all-time. In addition to poorly received roles, the five nominees--from Keanu Reeves to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger--all have something in common: Multiple Razzie nods, but no Razzie trophies.

Razzie favorite Gigli, a six-time dis-honoree last year, will try to add to its infamous factor with a win for Worst Comedy of the last 25 years. Battlefield Earth and Showgirls, Razzie standard-bearers with seven "wins" each, will vie for Worst Drama of the award show's run.

The "intentionally cheapjack tchotchke[s]" that are the Razzie Awards are scheduled to be presented Feb. 26 at Hollywood's Ivar Theater, the venue's $1,400 rental fee paid for, Wilson said, by the eBay auction of one of Affleck's manhandled, but unclaimed, Razzies for Gigli.

While many stars are expected to be in Hollywood for the Oscars on Feb. 27, Wilson said he can't say how many, if any, will stop by his event to be Razzed in person.

Said Wilson: "We never do know."
