James Van Der Beek is remembering his late Varsity Blues costar Paul Walker.

Almost two weeks after the 40-year-old tragically passed away in a fiery car crash, Van Der Beek took to Twitter today to share some touching throwback Thursday pics in Walker's honor.

"#tbt came across this poster in a storage unit and almost cried... @paulwalker," the former Dawson's Creek star wrote along with a photo of a Varsity Blues poster that featured Van Der Beek and Walker together in the film's football garb.

Van Der Beek shared another photo of one of their Varsity Blue props: their team's football playbook. "Also came across this #VarsityBlues," he captioned it.

In a third photo, Van Der Beer showed one of their plays from inside the book, writing, "#HookandLadder in X's and O's. Must have looked better for camera to run it to the other side..."

Van Der Beek's nostalgic TBT photos come over a week after he first took to Twitter to react to Walker's tragic death. "Thoughts and prayers tonight are with Paul Walker's friends and family, especially his little girl. So sad. Very heavy heart tonight," he wrote on Nov. 30.

He followed up with, "I just remember him as being so effortlessly golden. He had that way about him, that "thing"... #rippaulwalker #TeamPW."
