Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince George have some downtime for Downton Abbey.

We can count the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as their precious little prince, among the many enthusiasts of the English period drama. Of course, the 4-month-old is far too young to grasp what's going on upstairs and downstairs at the Crawley residence, but he is tuning in with his parents!

Allen Leech, Lesley Nicol, Laura Carmichael and Rob James-Collier appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, Dec. 10, to dish about the upcoming fourth season and some of their famous royal fans.

"I was actually at an event last week with Prince William, now the Duke of Cambridge, so yeah. I met him last week, shook his hand," Leech shared. "He actually said, 'I'm a big fan of the show—only now that my wife's had a baby,'" Leech revealed.

"Obviously he's got a lot of downtime, so he's obviously, she's got him watching this, and 'You're watching with me!'" he added with a laugh, while imitating Kate.

The 32-year-old Irish actor plays Tom Branson, chauffeur turned widower of Lady Cybil Branson.

But Leech isn't the only castmember to interact with the British monarchy.

"I met Camilla Parker Bowles very briefly," Nicol (aka chef Mrs. Patmore) added as the audience chuckled. "I know, it's the nearest one I've got to!" she said.

Downton fans get excited: The show will be back in a few short weeks, debuting on Sunday, Jan. 5, on PBS!
