Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne may get along now, but it wasn't always that way.
In a recently released DVD extra from their This Is Us movie DVD, the One Direction singers reveal why they actually couldn't stand each other at first.
"We used to be at each other's throats while we were on The X Factor," Tomlinson says in the video. "He took it so, so seriously. But whenever I wanted to do anything slightly mischievous, he was always the daddy."
"Me and Louis did not get on at all," Payne dished. "We were two completely different characters. He was really loud and bubbly. There was one point where I was just like I literally wanted to whack him."
Tomlinson added, "That's why he got the name Daddy Directioner."
Bandmate Harry Styles chimed in, "The dad of the group."
"He's the daddy you trust to book your holiday," Tomlinson echoed.
"Daddy of the group," Zayn Malik said, adding, "he used to be anyway, but we've corrupted him a little bit.
Tomlinson finished, "I'm sure he knows deep down that he's the sensible one."
