Gosh, it's been ages since Miley Cyrus' game-changing performance at the VMAs... Oh, it was just a few months ago? And how old is that royal baby? Surely he's walking...
OK, as you can see, 2013 was one jam-packed year in entertainment and celebrity news, every day bringing another smile, tears, a must-see photo, a viral video or a style transformation that we just couldn't get enough of.
The storyline kicked off as always on (or in close proximity to) the red carpet during Hollywood awards season before crisscrossing the globe, this time making a longer-than-usual stop in the United Kingdom, where Kate Middleton and Prince William (and you'd think the rest of the world, judging by the hoopla) welcomed a son, before the plot returned stateside for Miley, Fifty Shades madness, the rise of Batkid and an epic wedding proposal.
Along the way, we had a lot of laughs, watched some great performances (in real life and onscreen), enjoyed some truly inspiring moments, analyzed the breakups, celebrated the weddings, welcomed a lot of new lives into this world and said what seemed to be a particularly unfair number of goodbyes.
Let's just say, 2013 was a year to remember. May as well start doing so right now.
