If you ever caught yourself singing a catchy tune this past year, chances are it was one of these jams.
The music industry gave us plenty of gems this year, including a number of comebacks (hi, Eminem!) and some super star collaborations (what's up, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake?).
Whether it was a great dance beat (Lady Gaga's "Applause"), an unknown treasure (Lorde's "Royals") or something to go with a little sobfest (Rihanna's "Stay" or Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball") there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Of course, the list of this year's best songs is pretty lengthy, but these tracks are the best of the best.
