Anchorman 2

This may just be one of the greatest gifts of all this holiday season.

E! News has confirmed that Paramount Studios have decided to change the release date for Anchorman: The Legend Continues—but wait, don't frown. They're moving the date up by two days! Yes, that means it's getting released to theaters sooner than we expected!

Instead of the regularly scheduled Dec. 20 release date, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and our favorite news team will hit the big screen on Dec. 18.

But that's not all the Anchorman goodness we have for you...

The film's stars—Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner—treated a moviegoers to a little treat on Sunday night. The news team showed up at the movie's Sydney premiere and gave a live impromptu performance of "Afternoon Delight."

Hitting every note perfectly, the costars gave a great cover of the Starland Vocal Band's 1976 hit, recreating the memorable scene from the original film.

But wait, there's more!

Ron Burgundy was nice enough to create a holiday greeting card for fans who celebrate Thanksgiving and Hanukkah, and they were written in true Ron Burgundy fashion.

"Chappy Chanukah to the chosen people," one card read, "I hope you choose to watch me, Ron Burgundy, as your trusted news anchor. Even though me and my news team aren't remotely Jewish, if your Chanukah party has cocktails and ladies, we'll be there and we'll be staying late."

Meanwhile, the Thanksgiving card said, "Thanksgiving is a time when we gather with the family of the woman we're sleeping with for incredibly awkward conversation. Remember to drink lots of wine, eat a bunch of turkey and try not to argue with her dad. In the words of the Pilgrims, have a dynamic Thanksgiving!"

Why, thanks Ron.
