Watch: Phaedra Parks' 5 Rules for Being a Southern Belle

Listen up, because Phaedra Parks is giving her top tips on how to behave like a Southern belle!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently sat down with E! News' Alicia Quarles and dished out her top five rules for acting like the ultimate lady (pay attention, all you cat-fighting housewives!).

"Well, the first one would be is be prepared," Parks said while promoting her new book Secrets of the Southern Belle. "Southern belles are like little Eagle Scouts with vaginas."

"Also, be very nice," she continued. "We're always nice and we like to be ladies. And you know, being a lady is much different from just being a woman. Anyone can be a woman but it takes a special person to be a lady."

Parks added, "Work hard. Southern belles definitely believe in having a good work ethic and working hard and always being prepared."

For her fourth rule, the mom of two dished, "And I guess the next thing is always expect the best and give the best."

Parks' last rule is one she thinks her RHOA enemy Kenya Moore (who allegedly propositioned her husband Apolla Nida) could benefit from. "Page 89 [of the book] talks about the Southern Belle Code of Honor and how ladies should act in front of someone's spouse or significant other," Parks said. "Women need to know how to respect the sanctity of marriage."

And there you have it.
