Lady Gaga is joining forces with Versace.

The Italian fashion company named the "Applause" singer the face of their Spring/Summer 2014 campaign.

"#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga" the Versace brand tweeted on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Versace also shared the first photograph of the ARTPOP artist in her new role, who we can't help but think is channeling Donatella Versace. Gaga is donning a revealing lilac dress and long blond locks, while reclining in a lounge chair. She completes the stunning look with a purple statement ring, stacked rings and pale peach lips.

The Grammy winner took to Twitter to express her excitement, writing "I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia."

Donatella responded, saying "To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you. -Donatella"

It's no secret that Gaga is a huge fan of Versace. Mother Monster paid homage to Donatella on her ARTPOP album with a song called—what else—"Donatella."  She croons "she's so rich, and so blonde...she's so fab, it's beyond."

Gaga recently wore three Versace looks when she hosted Saturday Night Live, including a glitzy silver frock during her opening monologue.
