Simon Cowell is gearing up for the arrival of his first child, and that of course means picking a name for the precious bundle of joy.
The X Factor judge stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, Nov. 22, and the topic of conversation quickly turned to all things baby.
"You look like you have a glow about you like you're going to have a kid or something like that," Ellen DeGeneres told the father-to-be.
"Really?" the 54-year-old Englishman said. "I'm having a kid," he added, before adding that he's expecting a boy.
DeGeneres recalled that in September, she correctly predicted the music mogul and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman would be seeing blue in their future.
"Bo, were you right," Cowell responded.
DeGeneres tried to get Cowell to spill the beans on what the couple is thinking of naming their little boy.
"Oh yeah, I've got one already," Cowell answered.
"What is it?" DeGeneres said.
"Have a guess," Cowell said.
DeGeneres indulged Cowell and guessed Simon, because, isn't the answer obvious?
"It's my No. 1 choice," Cowell quipped.
Cowell told E! News on Nov. 5 that he and Silverman had agreed a name, but he was "not going to say what it is yet."
DeGeneres shifted the conversation to Cowell's passion for nice cars and his ultra posh Bugatti.
"Um, well your little Simon Jr. is going to want to be like daddy, right?" DeGeneres said to Cowell.
"For sure," Cowell said.
"Alright. So he's going to want a car like that too, right?" DeGeneres responded.
"He can have that one," Cowell said referring to his own car, that he has only driven twice in the past three years.
"No, he's gonna have his own car," DeGeneres said.
And with that, DeGeneres gave Cowell a mini Bugatti.
"Oh my god, I love it!" Cowell gushed as he thanked his pal.
