Jimmy Kimmel is the ultimate prankster. During the Wednesday, Nov. 20, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host teamed up with HP to pull a fast one on John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.

"Around the holiday season I have a tradition, and that tradition involves vandalizing my friend John Krasinski's home," Kimmel, 46, explained.

Several years ago, the superstar couple broke into Kimmel's mansion to stage a prank of their own. "They're my neighbors and I made the mistake of giving them a key to my house," the comic said. "Under cover of the night, they snuck in and they set up this light-up Santa Claus and Snowman in my living room, which was alarming when I got home. And they put a Star of David outside my bedroom, in case I converted or something, I guess."

"Of course," he said, "I had to get them back." He then shared stories and pictures from past pranks.

This year, Kimmel decided to go all out. "We sent eight trucks filled with holiday decorations and a 15-person crew to John and Emily's house," said the TV personality, who noted that set-up took seven hours. "While John was at work we brought in trains and trees and candy canes. We wrapped more than 200 fake gifts. We covered the threes with bows and lights and snowflakes. We brought in giant toy soldier soldiers, fake snow and ornaments. We wrapped the doors, we wrapped the windows—we gift-wrapped every inch of the house."

When Krasinski arrived home from work, he was shell-shocked. "Oh, my god," he said while taking in the scene. "What?" Before he had time to process what was happening, a snow machine revved up and a group of Christmas carolers emerged. Kimmel's favorite parking lot security guard, Guillermo Rodriguez, burst out of a giant box, terrifying the former Office star in the process.

After Krasinski regained his composure, he said, "Merry Christmas! Oh, god. I almost threw up!"

Rodriguez then handed him a tablet so Krasinski could record a message for Kimmel. "Jimmy, I had no idea this was you, because no one's ever done anything like this but you. I hate you. I love you. Merry Christmas," he said. "And thank you for this. This is amazing."

"You know what the worst part about this is? I'll never get him back for this," the actor said. "I don't have enough money to do something like this." When Rodriguez offered to help, 34-year-old Krasinski deadpanned, "How comfortable are you with nudity?"
