Rita Ora is on the mend after being rushed to the hospital earlier today during a photo shoot in Miami.

The 22-year-old singer was on the set of a Material Girl photo shoot on Monday, Nov. 18 in Florida, where the British beauty looked unwell as she was posing for pics in 90 degree heat for Madonna's new campaign.

A source tells E! News that Rita and her crew had stopped shooting for lunch, when suddenly, an emergency crew arrived. The medical staff was there for about an hour before transporting the pop star to Mount Sinai, where she was treated for "heat exhaustion and dehydration," according to Robert Alonso, the associate VP of Marketing at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Ora was seen being lifted on a stretcher into an ambulance after reportedly collapsing in her dressing room. She has since been discharged from the hospital, Alonso also confirmed to E! News.

As for any further explanation for the performer's sudden turn for the worse?

The eyewitness adds that it was "unusually hot" today in Miami and the newly blond beauty was mostly likely jet-lagged.

The source also says that shooting is expected to resume tomorrow.

When reached for comment, Ora's rep shared the following statement from Dr. David Farcy, M.D., Chairman of the Emergency Dept. at Mount Sinai Hospital: "Rita Ora was treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration at our hospital today. She was discharged and is fine."
