Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Might Become Neighbors With Jessica Simpson

Couple were spotted checking out a piece of land near the singer's home.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and little baby North West might be making a new(er) home for themselves up in the hills of Bel Air, Calif., and although their potentially new digs will be secluded from the regular hustle and bustle of Los Angeles life, they'll still share the neighborhood with some well-known faces.

E! News has learned that should the newly engaged couple purchase the massive amount of land they were seen checking out last week, they'll be sharing the neighborhood with Jessica Simpson and her family.

Kimye already purchased a home together in the same area for a cool $11 million back in January. However, that pad, which is currently still in construction, may be too exposed for the A-list pair.

So instead, Kim and Kanye began looking for some new property and were caught checking out a 2-acre piece of land in Hidden Hills on Nov. 9, and if they snag it, will end up selling their current work-in-progress and start from scratch to build their very own (and very large) mansion on the new plot.

Meanwhile, Simpson moved into Ozzy Osbourne's home in Hidden Hills, Calif., nearly two lots away from what could become Kim's new humble abode, in April 2013, with her fiancé Eric Johnson, baby Maxwell and new baby Ace Knute.
