Taylor Swift is looking to lay down some roots in London!

The 23-year-old singer has recently been house hunting for a home in London, a source exclusively reveals to E! News.

The Grammy winner flew to the U.K. last Thursday and spent several days looking at properties in the posh St. John's Wood and Regents Park areas of London (the same areas where Gwyneth Paltrow and Swift's ex Harry Styles live!). The source adds that the Red singer particularly liked one property that had a modern design to it.

"She was looking at houses in the range of 7-8 million pounds," the source says (that's around the $11 million to $13 million range). "The properties that Swift has looked over are huge houses, complete with panic rooms and everything," the source adds.

According to the source, Swift, who already has a massive Rhode Island residence, is looking to "build her property portfolio." Swift left London on Saturday.

This isn't the first time Swift has looked into snatching up property near an ex. Last year, Swift was rumored to have been looking for property in Hyannis Port near her former flame Conor Kennedy's family compound in Massachusetts.

The London house hunting news comes amid romance reports that Swift and Romeo and Juliet actor Douglas Booth recently enjoyed a date together in Hampstead, north London over the weekend.

"They are just good friends," a source tells E! News of the couple. "They are possibly working on a project together. They did go to the pub in Hampstead, but there was a whole group of them, they were not on a date."

While it's not clear when the duo first met, Swift was at the Hollywood premiere of Romeo and Juliet in September (her BFF Hailee Steinfeld costarred with Booth in the flick).
