Batkid Miles Scott Inspires Mass Excitement: President Obama Sends "Way to Go" Message, Britney Spears & More Tweet Love

5-year-old got to be his favorite superhero for a day with the help of the city of San Francisco and the Make-A-Wish Foundation

Though small acts of kindness are to be appreciated, there's nothing like an awesome, grandiose act of kindness, either!

The story of Batkid Miles Scott—a 5-year-old who is now in remission from leukemia and who, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the city of San Francisco, got to live out his dream of helping the good citizens of Gotham for a day—has prompted a revelatory outpouring of excitement from all around the world—and that includes the White House.

"Way to go, Miles, way to save Gotham," President Barack Obama encouraged the real-life hero in a Vine video.

FLOTUS was of a similar mind as her husband, with Michelle Obama also tweeting: "Thanks for catching all those bad guys #SFBatKid! You're an inspiration to us all. -mo"
