How is Matthew McConaughey staying in shape now that he's finally gained back some weight following his shocking body transformation for Dallas Buyers Club?

Let's just say it sounds like the 44-year-old actor, who dropped 50 pounds last year to play a man with HIV, is enjoying not working too hard on his physique.

"I'm going to work every day," McConaughey, who's currently filming his upcoming flick Interstellar, told E! News last night at the GQ Men of the Year party in L.A.

He continued, "I'm going to work everyday and trying to get six hours of sleep in and maybe throw in a few pushups in between takes through the day and that's about it."

"I had to gain some weight," McConaughey dished. "I was coming from being pretty thin. I eat good. I eat good."

Needless to say, McConaughey is looking forward to pigging out on Thanksgiving Day. He even said, "I'm going to cook the turkey."

Last month, McConaughey revealed he reached out to transformative actor Tom Hanks for advice on losing so much weight. "I actually called Tom and had a great conversation with him about what he learned about losing weight for Philadelphia and Cast Away," he said. "And I consulted a nutritionist about the best way to do this."

McConaughey said of when he was at his lowest weight, "I was going around and people were going, 'Hey, are you feeling all right?' But then I hit 135 pounds I ran in to somebody and they didn't just ask if I was all right, they said, 'My God, we need to get you some help.' And I thought, 'There we go. That's the perfect spot.'"

Glad to see you looking happy and healthy again!
