Nicky Hilton's Vegas Nuptials

Paris' little sister gets insta-hitched to New York money manager following late-night party

Paris Hilton gets the headlines. Nicky Hilton got the husband.

The less famous, younger sister of the reality-TV star wed boyfriend Todd Andrew Meister in a night-owl ceremony Sunday in Las Vegas.

It is the first quickie Sin City ceremony for Nicky Hilton, 20. There has been no word if the 33-year-old Meister, described as a "scenester" and a "socialite" (by the New York tabloid press) and a "money manager" (by the Hilton camp), has done the ring exchange previously.

The couple's 2:30 a.m. wedding at the Vegas Wedding Chapel was attended by friends and the bride's partners in bold-faced antics, sister Paris and model-actress-paparazzi magnet Bijou Phillips, said Elliot Mintz, spokesman for Nicky Hilton.

Hilton and Meister eschewed the chapel's traditional wedding packages, ranging from $179 (for the basic "Love Memories" set) to $2,495 (for the Elvis-impersonator-attended "Viva Las Vegas" celebration), in favor of a custom deal, said the chapel's Sandi Scott, whom declined to divulge exactly how much the heiress and the money manager paid.

Per Mintz, any resemblance between this wedding and Britney Spears' 55-hour Vegas debacle last January is purely coincidental.

"This is a real, serious, meaningful, loving relationship--not spur of the moment," rep Elliot Mintz said of Hilton and Meister to E! "[The wedding] was treated with great sobriety and seriousness."

Still, Mintz said he did not know if the couple had long planned to tie the knot in a pre-dawn ceremony attended by just one Hilton family member (Paris).

The rep did describe both sets of parents, however, as "thrilled" by the marriage.

While allowing that Meister has been portrayed as a man-about-town by the New York media, Mintz said the Harvard Business School graduate is a substantial person. "He is not the drummer of a rock 'n' roll group that's breaking up."

"I would suggest he is a very serious, very sober businessman with some very important clients who take his business very seriously," Mintz said.

As such, Meister was at work Monday, doing his money-management thing, according to Mintz.

The wife, meanwhile, has a Maxim cover shoot lined up for later in the week. And in September, she'll launch a sportswear line. (Mintz said he mentions this all only to note that Miss Hilton is a serious entrepreneur, as well.)

Owing to their work schedules, Hilton and Meister will not honeymoon until the fall, Mintz said.

"The glowing" (per Mintz) Hilton and Meister flew from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on Sunday and were spied later that day in Malibu. For those interested in such details, Mintz said the two intended to spend their first night as marrieds at an L.A. hotel.

Hilton has been linked to Meister, a longtime acquaintance, since her split with former MTV veejay Brian McFayden last year. In March, the fun couple was spotted at a Los Angeles club, the sighting made notable by Meister's choice of evening wear: a T-shirt reading, "I [blanked] Paris Hilton." ("I think it's funny," Nicky Hilton said of the tee, per the New York Post.)

Nicky and Paris Hilton arrived in Vegas over the weekend for a celebrity poker tournament sponsored by Stuff magazine and hosted at the star-friendly Palms Casino Resort (where Spears and husband Jason Allen Alexander spent their honeymoon night, natch).

Among the young-Hollywood types spotted hanging with the Hiltons at the Palms: Tara Reid, 'N Sync's Lance Bass and sibling sitcom stars Danny Masterson (That '70s Show) and Christopher Masterson (Malcolm in the Middle).

In a red-carpet interview Saturday night, Bijou Phillips told E! that she, the Hiltons, Nicole Richie (Paris Hilton's Simple Life costar) and Tara Reid spent the afternoon shopping at Caesars Palace. She didn't say whether they were shopping for bridal and/or honeymoon gear.

Like the Gabor sisters before them, the Hilton sisters are relatively easy to tell apart, if you keep their credits straight.

Paris, 23, is the one with the show on Fox, the sex tape on the Internet and a recent breakup with Nick Carter. Newlywed Nicky designs handbags and is the one with just enough juice to warrant a presenting gig at, say, the 2004 MTV Movie Awards. Scientists are still trying to determine the exact source of her celebrity cache.

This factoid may help: Both Hiltons are the great-granddaughters of Hilton hotels kingpin Conrad Hilton.
