Kris and Bruce Jenner may be "much happier" living apart, but the pair, who recently separated after 22 years of marriage, still remain the best of friends.

As evidenced by the Kardashian family matriarch's recent appearance at the All Sports Film event in North Hollywood, Calif., where Kris not only came out to support Bruce but also presented the former Olympian with the legendary athlete award.

"We are honored to be here tonight to present the All Sports Film festival's legendary athlete award to my best friend and Kendall's dad, Bruce Jenner," the E! star said with a smile as she stood onstage with the duo's 18-year-old daughter, who looked radiant in an all-white ensemble.

Wearing a charcoal suit with his hair pulled back in a ponytail, Bruce graciously accepts the accolade, giving Kendall a hug and Kris a kiss on the cheek.

Kylie and Brandon Jenner were also in attendance to support their father while he was honored at the event.

The 58-year-old momager recently opened up to E! News about her current relationship status with the 64-year-old star, insisting there's no hard feeling between the separated couple and noting that he was even invited to her recent big birthday bash

"Bruce was in Las Vegas working on an electronics type thing that they did, him and Brandon and I think Burt, for a car that they were racing," she explained. "They've been racing cars lately, which is one of his passions, so yes he was invited and I'm sorry you couldn't come, Bruce. You would've had a really good time."

Despite their separation, Kris joined other family members in celebrating Bruce's birthday in late October and also shared additional insight into the reason behind the pair's decision to live apart.

"We're just separated," the Kardashian matriarch explained on Kathie Lee and Company last month. "We are better people and happier just spending time apart than we are spending time together. It's just what we need to do right now."

"I would rather have him in my life as a friend than not in my life at all," she added.

"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the pair exclusively told E! News on Tuesday, Oct. 8. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
