With Fifty Shades of Grey's reported start date just three weeks away, it looks as if the actress is ready for cameras to start rolling.
If her hair is any indication, that is.
Of course, given how Johnson's character Anastasia Steele is a brunette, it doesn't come as a complete surprise to see that the star has dyed her blond locks in preparation for the role.
Johnson's new look was on full display as she shopped with a friend at The Grove in West Hollywood, Calif., on Monday, Nov. 11.
The 24-year-old has been keeping a rather low-profile lately, even as news broke last month that Jamie Dornan had replaced Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey.
But Fifty Shades producer Michael De Luca told E! News that Johnson is "our rock. She's just so Anastasia Steele. She's the best partner a producer could have."
Meanwhile, we caught up with Jennifer Ehle, who will play Anastasia's mother in the film, at the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards on Saturday, Nov. 9, and asked her about the selection of Dornan as Grey.
"I didn't follow any of the drama, but I think Jamie will be amazing," Ehle said.
In addition to Johnson and Dornan, the movie also stars Luke Grimes and Victor Rasuk.
Fifty Shades of Grey is set to hit theaters on Aug. 1, 2014.
