Justin Timberlake could have used a touch of green in his ensemble, but other than that...

He and wife Jessica Biel made for an absolutely stunning—and somewhat matching—couple at a private dinner preceding tomorrow night's GQ Men of the Year Awards, starring Timberlake as the magazine's December cover boy.

Timberlake cut a suave figure in a charcoal-gray Tom Ford suit with a subtle glen plaid print, opting for a scarf around his neck instead of a tie. Biel paired a short-in-front, long-in-black silk skirt and a white silk top with a pair of St. Patrick's Day-green peep-toe heels, all by Giambattista Valli.

But though they coordinated, they must have saved the canoodling for later.

At the dinner, hosted by Grey Goose at NYC hotspot Carbone, Biel let her man hold court as guest of honor. They took photos together but she did her own thing and mingled as Timberlake humbly and kindly accepted congratulations from fellow guests.

At one point Biel grapped a gin and tonic from the bar for Timberlake, while she herself sipped a Grey Goose Negroni, one of the night's signature cocktails.

Timberlake nibbled on prosciutto and otherwise appeared to be enjoying himself as GQ editor Jim Nelson toasted the man of the hour.

Other big names in attendance at the dinner tonight included Ethan Hawke, Ronan Farrow, Patrick Stewart (not dressed as a lobster, alas), Amy Schumer, Emily Ratajkowski, Questlove and Willie Geist.

Matthew McConaughey,  Will Ferrell and Kendrick Lamar will also be honored at tomorrow night's awards gala, and tribute will be paid posthumously to James Gandolfini.
