If anyone can look fabulous at nearly nine months pregnant, it would be Rachel Zoe.

The famed stylist and her husband Rodger Berman attended the 2nd Annual Baby2Baby Gala at The Book Bindery in Culver City, Calif. on Saturday, Nov. 9—and the very pregnant Zoe looked amazing. The 42-year-old sported a billowing Rick Owens gown and ornate gold necklace to the event.

We caught up with busy mom at the gala, who explained her ensemble choice for the night: "You have to get creative when you're really preggy."

Zoe also revealed that it took some work to go glam for the night (and we have to say—the effort paid off!).

"I'm in the final stretch," she said. "I'm almost there so it's harder now. It's hard to get dressed up and do the whole thing—you just don't have the energy you normally do."

Many a star mommy attended the gala, including Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie—who stunned in brightly-hued gowns. Drew Barrymore—who announced her second pregnancy last week—was honored at the event for her participation with a non-profit that provides essentials for children.

It was a busy weekend for Zoe, who had friends over for a baby shower to celebrate her second pregnancy the day after the Baby2Baby event.

The mom-to-be was joined by her close friends and family, who snapped pictures at the chicly-decorated outdoor party—which featured long tables, fresh flowers and gold accents. Longtime friend and Director of Brand Partnerships for Rachel Zoe Inc., Marisa Runyon, posted a telling photo on Instagram—a view of the elegant shower spread showcasing balloons that spelled out "BOY."

Nicole Richie also attended the backyard fete. The star posted a sweet caption-less photo with her arms around a friend on Instagram.

We can't wait to meet Zoe's new addition to the family—and we're sure two-year-old cutie Skyler feels the same.
