Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds did something unusual on Saturday, Nov. 9—they posed together on the red carpet. Though the actors have been married since September 2012, the Green Lantern costars have made it a point to avoid being photographed in the same shot at public events. The spouses threw caution to the wind over the weekend, however, when they joined Coldplay singer Chris Martin, plus actor couple Tracy Pollan and Michael J. Fox, at a star-studded charity event in New York City.

The couple attended the annual A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's event, which benefits The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Other attendees who showed up at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel included Tina Fey, Seth Meyers, Julianna Margulies, Mario Batali, Joan Jett, George Stephanopoulos and Savannah Guthrie. Denis Leary hosted the fundraiser, and Martin performed.

Like Fox, Reynolds' father suffers from Parkinson's disease. "You meet the people who work with this foundation, and so many of them have absolutely no affiliation with the disease whatsoever other than their job, and they were brought to it by a common denominator, which is Michael, and he's so inspiring and you just see the people that work with this foundation and how tirelessly they give everything they have to it and you start to forget that you're only here because someone you care about has Parkinson's," the Canadian star told The Hollywood Reporter. "I was really blown away by the whole operation."

"Hollywood is fantastic at whoring themselves out for a good cause and more power to them," the R.I.P.D. star joked. "I mean, it's a really excellent thing that you can get this many talented, wonderful people together for whatever reason it is and have people donate money and see a great show tonight."
