Downton Abbey's season four wont hit small screens until January, but it's already locked in season five.

The hit PBS period drama was renewed for a fifth season, ITV and co-producer Carnival Films announced Sunday, meaning fans will get to see more of the elite Crawley family's drama.

According to ITV, more than 24 million viewers tuned in for the third season of the show, making it the most-watched drama in PBS history.

As for what fans can expect in the upcoming season, Michelle Dockery dished to E! News recently about what's to come for Lady Mary's love life, saying, "There are a few potential suitors, there's two main ones."

"The new boys coming into the show, they're brave because I'm cursed. Mary is cursed isn't she? Because they all die."

Interesting.

Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Carter and Hugh Bonneville all star on the show, which kicks off on PBS Jan. 5.
