Justin Bieber has officially been charged for vandalism following a spray-painting graffiti session he recently had in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 19-year-old pop star was charged today after local authorities held a three-day testimony and hearing from everyone involved, including photographers who snapped him during the act, police officers, Justin's security guards and others, Rio police confirm to E! News.

The Biebs will have to pay a fine and will not be arrested. It will take at least 30 days for the judge to examine all of the evidence and determine the cost of the fine.

Earlier this week, E! News learned that Rio police received a complaint about Bieber and a group of friends painting graffiti on a wall of the former Hotel Nacional in the Joá neighborhood.

Bieber's camp explained that he was given permission by Rio's city hall to do graffiti on a different wall, but he felt the area was too dangerous and therefore opted for the other location, assuming it was an abandoned building. Unfortunately for him, tagging the wall was illegal.

A rep for the "Boyfriend" crooner did not comment on news of the vandalism charges.

Despite his latest legal woes, Bieber is moving on with the South American leg of his world tour. Tonight, he'll perform in Cordoba, Argentina, before two shows in Buenos Aires this weekend.
