Pauly D is one proud papa.

The Jersey Shore star finally got to meet his baby girl, Amabella, for the first time on Wednesday, Nov. 6, a source confirms to E! News.

Father and daughter met at a neutral location in New Jersey and spent about five hours together. Amanda Markert, the child's mother, was there as well.

Pauly D's own mother accompanied him on the visit and he brought Amabella several toys and stuffed animals, the source says.

And it seems as if the 33-year-old DJ is ready to be a full-time dad.

According to the source, Pauly D has already built a nursery in Rhode Island and is working on creating one in Las Vegas.

While the MTV reality star doesn't know when he'll see his daughter next, the source adds that he wants to spend as much time with her as he can. A judge is currently working out a visitation schedule.

Nothing has been decided regarding the holidays, but that may be resolved the end of the week.

Pauly D's first meeting with Amabella comes just one week after Markert tweeted to Pauly D, "Come bond with her any day, any time you and your family want."

Last month, Pauly D learned that Markert, a former Hooters waitress, had given birth to their daughter on May 15.

The two met through a mutual friend at Las Vegas' Rehab nightclub in August 2012 and ended up hooking up later that night.

A source told E! News that Pauly D and Markert "didn't have a previous relationship," but the new dad was "hoping to develop" one. "[He] wasn't exactly planning for it to happen this way," says the source, "but God works in mysterious ways."
