Hilary Duff Slams Reports That She's Trying for a Girl: "The Only Baby I'm Working on Is My Album"

Singer says she's not getting pregnant any time soon

Hilary Duff is slamming reports that she and hubby Mike Comrie are trying to get pregnant with a baby girl.

The 26-year-old singer, who's already mom to 1-year-old son Luca, took to Twitter yesterday to clarify some quotes she gave that were recently misconstrued.

"I love that I do an interview &people ask if I want more kids.. I say yes. Not now thought and all if a sudden I'm "trying" for a girl.WHAT?" Duff wrote on Sunday. She followed it up with, "It's ridiculous....The only baby I'm working on is my album."

The quotes she's referring to are presumably ones she told reporters at a recent event for sister Haylie Duff's new cookbook.

"If I had another boy, I would be happy, but I would like to try for a girl and I'm not sure that I want to have three kids," People reports Duff said.

But the Hollywood mama added of little Luca, "The mom and boy relationship is really, really sweet and I'm so obsessed with him."

While a daughter may not be on the way for Duff in the new future, it sounds like music is! Duff is currently working on her fifth album.
