This season, amid the inevitable family drama and other holiday stresses, you're going to need a good laugh wherever you can get it.

Fortunately, a strong crop of holiday comedies has you covered—whether you're looking for low-brow belly laughs (hello, Tyler Perry and Madea) or more serious-minded and thought-provoking stuff (a la a totally unfiltered Meryl Streep)

First up, a stellar ensemble cast of Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Robert De Niro take to Sin City for a bachelor party in Last Vegas, out November 1. And speaking of brilliant ensembles, The Best Man Holiday brings an all-star crew including gorgeous people Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Terrence Howard and Sanaa Lathan for a reunion 15 years in the making.

Or here are a couple ways to feel better about your own tense family times in close quarters this season: In Delivery Man, a juvenile guy in middle age (Vince Vaughn) learns he's fathered more than 500 kids after donating sperm in his younger days—and has to decide whether it's time to man up and give his life purpose when a chunk of them file a class-action
lawsuit to reveal his identity.

And on Christmas day, check out Julia Roberts' latest August: Osage County, which tells the dark and moving story of the women of one family, brought back together in the Midwest home they grew up in.
