Aloha, Rebel Wilson! The Australian actress took some time off from filming ABC's Super Fun Night in California and flew to Hawaii for a little R&R. Rocking a retro-inspired ruffled swimsuit, the 5-foot-4 actress was photographed snorkeling in the Pacific Ocean on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Wilson is known as much for her comedy as she is for her curves—and according to the actress herself, the two go hand in hand. "I think most girls who are encouraged to come to L.A. and become actresses are usually the prettiest girls in their hometowns of Iowa or wherever," she recently told In Touch. "So not looking like anyone else has made things easier for me, because I'm distinctive."

The 27-year-old star is proud of her figure, and she hopes it inspires other women to be less critical of their own bodies. "There are so many glamorous actresses—but in the real world, nobody looks like that. I want to inspire girls who don't think they're cool or pretty," she said. "To do that, I need to put out a realistic version of what it's like to be a girl who looks like me. Sometimes that means getting broken up with by a dude who says, 'You're too fat.' That way, when my character wins, it's gratifying."

In a recent New York magazine profile, Super Fun Night's executive producer Conan O'Brien argued that Wilson's weight is less noteworthy than her talents.

"Men don't think about their size as an issue, and neither does Rebel," he said. "Rebel is revolutionary. Her weight is vastly overshadowed by her talent. It's like the early Beatles—after the world heard the songs, no one cared about their haircuts."

We couldn't agree more!
