Better safe than sorry!

Lady Gaga prepared for the rainy London weather by sporting a massive (like, super massive) seashell umbrella to match with her Marie Antionette-meets-Geisha girl ensemble Thursday.

Mother Monster apparently wasn't in costume, as it is Halloween after all, but just going about her daily duties as pop goddess.

The "Applause" singer worked the heck out of a green and gold kimono and opted for her usual sky-high footwear, only this time with a little twist.

Gaga was just honored as Glamour's Woman of the Year and opened up about whether or not she felt she was beautiful in the magazine.

"Not conventionally beautiful," she replied. "I've always been OK with that. I'm not a supermodel. That's not what I do. What I do is music. I want my fans to feel the way I do, to know that what they have to offer is just as important, more important, than what's happening on the outside. I'm confident in who I am."

She also addressed the comparisons she faces constantly between herself and Madonna.

"Who's to say I'm anything like her at all? Who's to say that my ambitions are even the same as hers? Who's to say I'm not an entirely different person?" Gaga questioned. "Because I am. You have to understand, I was a waitress five years ago."

"My ambition was never to rule the world. It was always to change the world."
