Hocus Pocus put a spell on you, and it enchanted Bette Midler, too!

In fact, 20 years after its 1993 release, she still considers the Halloween flick to be one of her favorite movies. On an episode of Katie Couric's talk show airing Thursday, Oct. 31, Midler recalls how the witchy Sanderson sisters—played by herself, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy—"just had the best time" making the cult classic.

"We laughed the whole time," she gushes, "and we flew! We flew! And we got to wear like crazy noses and fake teeth and all those sorts of things."

"I love it," she says nostalgically. "We made it before the tidal wave of Halloween happened. Now it's like huge. It's huge—kids, grown-ups, everyone takes part in it. This movie was kind of like the beginning of the wave."

Some of the cast reunited earlier this month at an official Disney fan club meeting in Burbank, Calif. Although Midler and Parker didn't make it to the get-together, Najimy did, along with Thora Birch (Dani Dennison), Omri Katz (Max Dennison) and Vinessa Shaw (Allison, Max's crush).

OK, so, can a virgin just go ahead and light a black candle again tonight? We need to summon the whole gang back for a Hocus Pocus sequel!
