If you watch Eric & Jessie: Game On, you know that Jessie James and Eric Decker aren't afraid to do things their own way, but this tradition-breaking choice might surprise you!

The night before the big wedding day, most brides and grooms stay in separate locations and see each other for the first time as the bride walks down the aisle in her wedding dress. Eric and Jessie threw that right out the window.

"We planned on spending the night before the ceremony a part, but Eric called me and said he didn't want to be alone, so we stayed the night together before the ceremony," Jessie told E! News. "I don't think it took anything away from the ceremony. It was great to wake up, have some tea and be like, 'We're getting married today!'"

The wedding, which we'll see this Sunday on Eric & Jessie, is said to be beautiful and full of fun surprises.

"It was amazing. It's a fairy tale, dream come true," Jessie gushed. "It was everything I wanted."

And how did she deal with the expected stress of putting on such a huge event?

"I kind of blocked out anything or anyone that was negative or bothering me and just completely focused on marrying my soulmate."

Jessie even shared some advice for all the brides-to-be out there and gave some tips on planning your own wedding.

Here are Jessie's top three tips:

1. It's All About You! "It's your day and your husband's day. Do not let other people get in the way or get in your mind. Just have a great time. That's what you paid all this money for. That's what you've been working towards for a year. This is a special day, so just make it all yours."

2. Put Your Style Into Everything: "Do people want to drink out of glasses, or would mason jars be fun? You can put your own unique sense of style into it and really make it yours. I'm a country girl at heart. I liked to make the little things count."

3. Don't Procrastinate: "Go ahead and reserve that caterer and reserve that venue. The day comes a lot faster than you think—don't procrastinate like I did. You need to do it quickly, because places and people can be booked a year in advance."

Jessie's favorite moment from the whole day? "Getting to know I was marrying my soul mate."

And cue the collective "Awwws."
