Before he returns to the basketball court, Lamar Odom has to power forward in life.

And that's just what he's doing, according to a source who exclusively tells E! News that Khloé Kardashian Odom's husband is currently focused on getting his career back on track and has been dedicating himself to the cause.

We're told that Lamar has been approached by interested NBA teams and is taking meetings.

He has been sober now for more than two weeks and has been in constant contact with Khloé, says our source.

The last time the two were photographed together was on Oct. 8, when they visited Kris Jenner at home in the wake of the announcement that she and Bruce Jenner had separated. Khloé and Lamar have largely been living apart since his arrest on suspicion of DUI on Aug. 30. He has since pleaded not guilty and a hearing is scheduled for Nov. 8.

For now, Lamar is hanging out in the company of good friends—all of whom hope to see him get better—and he's on the right track, the source says.

Khloé, meanwhile, has been jetting all over the place. She was in San Francisco to see Kanye West propose to Kim Kardashian, then it was back to L.A. on Tuesday to appear at the opening of Scoop NYC in Beverly Hills and Kim's Las Vegas birthday bash at Tao is tomorrow night. She'll be in London next month to promote the Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy.

At the Scoop NYC event, Khloé was wearing her massive wedding ring, as she has continued to do in the face of all rumors about the state of her and Lamar's marriage.

Earlier today, she snuggled up to Kendall Jenner's new Great Dane puppy, calling her "my puppy sister" on Instagram.
