Minka Kelly isn't dating Chris Evans anymore, but don't expect her to vague-tweet her emotions in a ploy for brekaup sympathy!
Instead, the 33-year-old actress used her social media presence to shine a light on an important charity in Africa. On Thursday, Oct. 24 (one day after E! News confirmed Minka and Chris had split), the Friday Night Lights alum Instagrammed two smiley, joyful throwback shots of her time spent volunteering in Kenya with The Mocha Club.
The first shot shows Minka and a pal the moment they "broke out into dance in the middle of a field in Africa." She called this her "Favorite place in the world w my favorite people Barrett & Rachel [who work with the philanthropy]," adding, "#INeedAfricaMoreThanAfricaNeedsMe."
She also Instagrammed a picture of herself and Benson, "who leads the project work in Kenya for all the women who are HIV+."
Clearly, Minka's not dwelling about the end of her and Chris' romance. After all, the couple dated in 2007, split, then reunited last year, so who's to say they won't get back together again? Plus, as a source told Us Weekly (who was first to report the couple's most recent breakup), the pair's jam-packed schedules were the problem, and "It didn't make sense for them to be together right now."
Props to Minka for being the opposite of self-centered after a split!
